Dustin T. Bower

Attorney

Dustin Bower is the founder and owner of Bower Law Office, PLLC. Dustin has experience in a wide range of legal areas, including bankruptcy, child welfare and advocacy, administrative law, criminal law, unemployment law, corporate law, and business litigation. Dustin's most recent legal experience involved working with several large engineering and construction firms responsible for the 35W bridge redesign and construction.

Dustin is also very active in the non-profit community. He currently volunteers through Minneapolis Achieve, a program that puts professionals in contact with at-risk inner city high school students. In his personal life, Dustin is also an active member in his local chamber of commerce and an ambassador to the business community.

Dustin has a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in Advertising and Public Relations. He also has a Juris Doctor degree from Hamline University School of Law where he graduated in the top 1/3 of his class and received the Hall/Page and Dean's Scholarship for outstanding academic excellence. Dustin was also a participant and coach of the Client Counseling Competition at Hamline where his team earned top honors. He received the CALI Award for top student in his legal Torts class and was nominated Class Representative for the Student Bar Assocation his second year of law school.

Zachary Walker

Law Clerk

Zach is currently a third year student at Hamline University School of Law. He is currently working with Bower Law Office, PLLC as an intern through the Hamline practicum program. He has experience working with bankruptcy law and with securities filings for the SEC.

Zach is very active at Hamline. He is the president of the Hamline Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, a student group focusing on supporting and promoting Asian Pacific Americans in the law profession, and is a member of the bookstore committee, which was formed by the Student Bar Association to brainstorm new business strategies for the school bookstore.

Zach graduated from St. John's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Asian Studies, focusing on the Japanese language.

Erin Hmielewski Jensen

Law Clerk

Erin is a third year law student at Hamline University School of Law. She is currently working at Bower Law Office as an intern through Hamline's practicum program. She has experience working with business and non-profit law, criminal law and family law. She is a member and the president of Hamline's Business Law Association and has volunteered for a year through the Minnesota Justice Foundation at Chrysalis-Tubman. She is a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers and the American Bar Association.

Erin grew up in Ashland, WI and attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities where she received a B.A. in History with a focus on early American history and minored in Women's Studies.

Christina Sheridan

Paralegal

Christina has nine year's experience preparing bankruptcy documents for individuals and businesses who have filed for protection in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. She has worked for numerous bankruptcy firms in the Minneapolis and Pittsburgh areas and with the U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Trustee Program, which acts as a watchdog agency for the bankruptcy system. As a debt counselor, she has helped individuals by working out action plans to help them budget their money and by enrolling eligible individuals in debt management programs.

Carol Arth

Paralegal

Carol is an experienced legal administrative assistant/legal assistant with 20+ years of legal experience managing complex responsibilities, meeting conceptual needs to achieve results independently, and working as a valuable team member. Carol is experienced in providing support to attorneys through excellent technical skills and dealing with sensitive issues while maintaining a calm demeanor and sense of humor. Carol has experience in most areas of law with extensive experience in real estate including buying and selling real estate as a real estate agent, and working with residential, commercial, and syndication real estate. Carol also has extensive litigation experience, contract law experience, and family law experience. Carol has worked in the legal field in Texas, Virginia, Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota.

Carol is currently finishing her paralegal degree from Inver Hills Community College where she has been on the Dean’s list for her first three semesters and is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She intends to pursue a paralegal career upon graduation in the Spring of 2010.

LeeAnn Holmberg

Administrative Assistant

With over 10 years of experience in administrative & details management, LeeAnn is an incredible addition to our team. LeeAnn has been providing services to entrepreneurs, consultants, real estate investors, and other small business owners for years, and her organizational and interpersonal skills cannot be beat.

LeeAnn specializes in customer support, including invoicing, answering client phone calls and emails, faxing, and customer/contact management. She also works with our firm in the areas of data entry, document preparation & formatting, executive support, travel arrangements, and transcription.

LeeAnn graduated from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma as Most Distinguished Graduate in the Arts and Humanities Division. She has a bachelor of arts in English with minors in Photography and Technical Writing.

Roberta Gloppen

Administrative Assistant

Roberta has over 25 years experience in the Mortgage lending industry, as a Sr. Mortgage Loan processor and Assistant to a team of Mortgage Loan Officers.

Roberta is skilled in administrative support with mortgage loan documentation and file maintenance. She has the ability to analyze, interpret, and properly maintain all financial documentation provided by customers. She understands the importance of excellence customer service and confidentially. Her responsibilities include staying informed on current mortgage lending guidelines and compliance rules. She has extensive experience in the mortgage loan process, from the loan application process to the final stage, the mortgage loan closing.

Roberta is currently enrolled at Inver Hills Community College in the Legal Administrative Assistant program. She will receive her Legal Administrative Assistant certificate in December of 2009. She anticipates completing her Associate of Arts degree in the spring of 2011. Her school honors at Inver Hills Community College include the Dean List in the spring of 2008 and membership in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
